Betsey Lincoln Betsey Lincoln was the fourth child of Nedabiah Sr. and Sarah (Hodges) Lincoln and was born February 14, 1789. She married Daniel Austin (born 1788) and they had five identified children and possibly as many as nine total. After Daniel's death she married widower Adolphus Barney. She died May 21, 1879 in Taunton at the age of 90.
She is an ancestor of Gen Douglas MacArthur and reported to be an ancestor of Franklin D. Roosevelt as well as Winston Churchill. (Information from the MacArthur Museum/Library) Updated 01/21/11
